Scenery Begins, This page to Document Hardshell and beyond, finally some life comes to our Layout, term of the Month is" Blendechtomy"

Scenery hardshell and molds are complete, plaster has been basically colored with some highlighting left to do, following pics are the beginnings og the canyon section as we focus on getting 1 section 100% complete

Progress as Of Dec 20th 2010

We have gotten after it pretty good this past month, Hardshell is complete and nearly all Rock Molds are Done, 1 more session after Christmas should complete, basic Terrain, then on to Acylics to add a bit of color

Stan has begun assembling the Bridges in the Canyon/Lake Section, while I start the arduous task of building the Gazillion Trees we will need.

Last of the Hardshell completed today, Textured and Ready for staining, which will begin tommorrow, sawmill section connection was made today, Basic landforms and Hardshell will be done tommorrow for the sawmill & log pond

Hardshell is of typical construction, paper towels soaked and draped over cardboard webbing ( see previous pg ) Rock Molds are mostly a selection from Bragdon Enterprises and some Aluminum Foil molds for fill in, Roughy up the Foil ones just after pulling them helps a great deal, powdered Hydrocal is sprinkled to blend scenery and make slides, talus will be added later
